8.CAROL GOULDING BLAKNEY (EMERSON WARD7, WILLIAM THOMAS6, JOHN THOMAS5 , WILLIAM4, THOMAS3, WILLIAM2, JOHN1)
Carol Goulding Blakney Breaux was born in Birmingham and attended elementary and secondary schools in Pickens County at Reform, AL. She graduated in 1966 with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa; 1969 with a M.S. in Physiology from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge; and 1981 with a Ph.D. in Reproductive Biology from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD. She had worked for Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation, La Jolla, CA; Mobil Oil and the Department of Public Health in PA; Johns Hopkins in Baltimore; and the State of Louisiana in various positions prior to her illness.
